  This little place opened recently in Escondido. They are clean, have really good service, kind employees, and good food. I get a lot of coupons which makes it even a better deal.
  
  The bowls come with choice of two proteins, rice and vegetables. I'm working on a lower carb diet, so they substituted extra veggies for the rice which was perfect. The habanero chicken was spicy and good. The original beef was also good.
  
  For a healthier fast food option, this is the place.

  I love this place, staff are friendly and nice. Food as always are good. Specially Beef Yakiniku and the shrimp. Prices are reasonable actually very affordable with the food that you are getting. I will definitely come back for more yakiniku beef.
  
  Place is clean and well organized.

  Definitely NOT the old Yoshinoya. I used to eat at the original store in Alhambra. Went there when it first opened. From that day forth, I was HOOKED! My wife and I have dined at many different locations, and all were consistently good. Even when they used to be in Escondido a number of years ago; at both locations. It was disappointing as different venues started closing down since we are big fans.
  
  About a month or so ago, I decided to order the classic combo plate. As another reviewer stated, it was loaded with rice at the expense of less meat. On top of that, the flavor/quality was no where near what it used to be. Also, prices were significantly higher, but some of that is understandable due to inflation.
  
  When my wife and I learned of this new store, we were looking forward to it. Too bad it came up short. In all fairness, I will give them more time to iron out the bumps. Perhaps down the road things will improve.

  I've been a fan of Yoshinoya for some time.   The great thing about this location is the drive thru option, although on some days, this can take awhile.   This is right off of Center City, so it's an easy location to find and get to.  As the location just recently opened, I am hoping they improve upon operations and service over the next few months.
  Their drive through can improve upon their speed of service, and order accuracy needs some work.
  
  They've expanded the menu a bit since I've last tried this chain.  I've tried the teriyaki beef and the orange chicken but both left me underwhelmed.  That doesn't deter me from coming back, though, as the main draw for me is the original beef, and it is just as good as I remember it.  Over white rice with a side of veggies or coleslaw.  It's a hearty meal for lunch or dinner, with a decent portion for the price.  I'm glad they are in Escondido and hope they are here to stay!

  Hopefully this Yoshinoya lasts longer than the last one in Escondido. That one closed shop after a year and a half. This Yoshinoya just moved into Escondido's newest strip mall and it's also located next to the recently opened Habit Burger. I have to say that the place looked fresh, clean, and appealing.
  
  We ordered a couple of combo plates and a chicken wing appetizer. The combos were pretty big and they will fill you up. I was a little disappointed with their soggy steamed vegetables tho. The tiny chicken wings were tasty and very bold in flavor. By contrast, their combo plates were mild on  flavor. Because other places like Teriyaki Brothers and The Flame Broiler have more pronounced flavors, and higher quality product, Yoshinoya is just three stars..
  At around 7 bucks you do get an affordable filling meal. I will likely come back because of its location and it's something different from Panda Express and cheaper than Teriyaki Brothers.
